Sport is a vibrant and highly valued part of life at Fulford Sixth Form, offering students outstanding opportunities to develop their skills, pursue their passions and achieve success both on and off the field. Our curriculum provides clear pathways for students with a keen interest in sport, including nationally recognised qualifications such as BTEC Sport and A Level Physical Education, which combine practical performance with the study of sport science, psychology and leadership.
Beyond the classroom, students can take advantage of our thriving Sports Academy enrichment programme. This dynamic programme enables students to participate in a wide range of sporting activities, develop leadership skills and build lifelong healthy habits in a supportive and ambitious environment. Students benefit from excellent facilities, including dedicated tennis and netball courts, a modern sports centre and a brand-new 3G pitch, providing high-quality spaces for both training and competition.
Fulford School is also proud of its outstanding and highly competitive Ultimate Frisbee programme. Competing successfully at national and international level, our Frisbee teams have earned an impressive reputation for excellence and for a number of students this has helped secure reduced university offers.
